There is still time to register for the 40th Annual Governor’s Conference on Highway Safety. It will take place on August 27 and 28 in Green Bay, with free pre-conference training sessions offered on August 26.
This year’s theme is “Takin’ It to the Streets,” highlighting the grassroots efforts and community involvement that are essential to improving traffic safety. Workshops and training sessions will include topics on how education, engineering, emergency management services, and enforcement can save lives on our roadways. The sessions are being presented as a joint effort by the Bureau of Transportation Safety (BOTS), the Traffic Incident Management Enhancement (TIME) Program and Child Passenger Safety (CPS). The conference will also offer networking and entertainment opportunities for attendees.
Registrants are encouraged to arrive on August 26 to attend any of the FREE pre-conference training sessions, and then stay to attend the conference on August 27 and August 28.
